Drew Underwood is a freelance film writer and director based in Los Angeles, CA.
He was born and raised on the island of Maui, HI., where even as a child he was making movies - albeit pretty shitty ones. After trading the waves for skyscrapers and moving to Chicago, Drew earned a Bachelor’s degree in Cinema Arts + Science from Columbia College Chicago.
Now as an indie writer and director, Drew hopes to bring his lifelong passion for genre films to life one bucket of blood at a time - starting with the horror comedy short Bloody Mary, currently on the film festival circuit.
